Dale was owner and manager of Morris's Ace Hardware, which he ran in the footsteps of his father for over 30 years. He was a member of Breakthrough Church.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Taylor Morris; two sons, Dusty (Bethany) Morris and Brantley (Brooke) Morris; two sisters, Sheila Morris Jones and Debra Morris (Kenneth) Futch and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bishop R. B. Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening between 6 and 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Breakthrough Church, 211 Douglas St. Alma, GA. 31510.
Active pallbearers will be Justin Goodman, Brandon Jones, Jagger Young, Richie Taylor, Kenneth Futch and Marty Taylor. Employees of Morris's Ace Hardware will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
