Quillion Taylor, age 87, passed away peacefully September 16, 2025, after a short illness. He was born in Bacon County on August 23, 1938, to the late Oswell Taylor and Gladys Tanner Taylor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Laverne Carter and Lutricel Taylor; brothers Marlow, Johnny, Eugene, and Billy Taylor.

He retired from Milliken after 42 years. He was a long-time member of the Alma Lions Club and the First Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sandra Taylor; sons Gary Taylor (Beth) of Alma, Randy Taylor (Elaine) of Plano, TX, and Ricky Taylor (Mary) of Atlanta, GA; brother Ray Taylor (Sheila) of Alma and his sister, Faye Schoppee (Ron) of Douglas, GA. Seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 19, 2025, at the First Church of the Nazarene at 2 P.M. with Rev. Wayne Woods, Rev. Dan Taylor, Rev.Kenny Ellis officiating, and eulogy by David Alderman. Interment will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 12 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers include Stacy Taylor, Tanner Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Seth Taylor, Jordan Taylor and Mitchell Todd.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult S.S. Class of the Nazarene Church and Hardees Breakfast Club.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
