Reverend Clara Bell Martin Gary, 82, of Simpsonville, wife of Willie Roy Gary for 64 years, transitioned on Monday, September 29, 2025 at St. Francis East Hospital. Born in Simpsonville, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Daisy Green Martin.
Surviving, in addition to her husband: seven daughters, Shameka Gary of Greenville, SC, Dora Thompson of Spartanburg, SC, Kayla Thompson of Fountain Inn, SC, Kelly (Derrick) Pearson, of Spartanburg, SC, Jennelle Mark of Greenville, SC, LaSonya Brooks of Spartanburg, SC and Doris Martin of Greenville, SC; four sons, Roy F. (Tina) Gary of Greenville, SC, Reverend Stephon (Sharon) Gary of Simpsonville, SC, Reverend Andre’ L. (Andrea) Gary of Greenville, SC and Cayden Gary of the home; one sister, Edna Dawkins of Simpsonville, SC; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Monday, October 6, 2025, 12:00pm, place TBA, with interment in Graceland East Memorial Park.
