Mrs. Emma Harris Golden 97, of Greenville, widow of the late Gus Golden, transitioned on Friday, September 26, 2025 at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Reverend James and Florence Wright Harris.
Surviving: one daughter, Gail (Reed Alexander) Williams of the home; two brothers, Alfred Harris of Detroit, MI and Larry Harris of Teaneck, NJ; two grandchildren, Joaquina ( Willie Calvin, Jr.) Murray Of Inman, SC and Charles Denard Pickens of Bronx, NY; two bonus grandchildren, Ambria (Lamar) Sweet of Greenville, SC and Marcus (Tasha) Williams of Charlotte, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, October 5, 2025, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
