Jerry O'Brian Golden Jr., age 64, passed away peacefully at his home on October 27, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 6, 1961, in Beaufort, North Carolina. Jerry was a devoted husband, father, and Paw Paw who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm. After receiving an honorable discharge, he began a long and successful career in the cable industry, working with several providers over the years. Even in his later years, Jerry continued to lend his expertise as a contractor before retiring.

A man with a heart of gold, Jerry was a lifelong fan of the New York Jets and the Atlanta Braves. Music was a constant source of joy in his life. He was not only a wonderful father to his children but also a father figure to many, always ready with a listening ear, a kind word, or a helping hand. His laughter, warmth, and generosity will be remembered forever.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Golden Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Golden; his children, Travis Golden and his wife Jennifer Golden. Sean Golden and his fiancée Alex Renalds, and Brittny Burritt and her husband Ben Burritt; his grandchildren, Ella Burritt and Easton Burritt; his mother, Judy Golden; his brother, Rodney Golden; his sister-in-law, Cathy Edney, and her husband Mitch Edney; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, with details to be announced once finalized.

Jerry's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest peacefully, Jerry-you are loved beyond measure.
