Rex Boone Obituary
Rex Allen Boone of Kissee Mills, entered peacefully into rest on Tuesday October 31, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.
Rex was born on May 11, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska to Hugh and Mildred (Henner) Boone. The Boone's moved to Kissee Mills Missouri when Rex was young and he has resided on the same family property nearly his entire life. Rex graduated from Forsyth High and became a diesel mechanic soon thereafter. Rex loved what he did and it showed through the expertise he provided to customers of his own business Boone Truck Service, his Kansas City family on the drag strip, and the countless times a hand was lended to his friends and family. Rex enjoyed teaching anyone who wanted to learn about his craft and has acted as a mentor to many in his lifetime.
Rex was preceded in death by his parents, along with two brothers Eldon Boone, his twin brother Roy Boone, and one sister Louise Mae Phillips.
Rex is survived by his two children Lucas Allen Boone and Brittany Lee Boone, two sisters Ronda Dorsey and Karen Figgins, four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on November 12th at 2PM at the Taney Center. Cremation under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth Missouri.

Rex was a stand-up guy who never knew a stranger. He would help anyone even at his own detriment. The Kansas City crew had known Rex for over 35 years. He was a good friend, a great guy and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace brother, you´re up there with the best. Till we meet again. We all love you, The Walker family, Esposito´s, Lisa and kids, Possum, Dennis and countless others
