Rex Dishong

Rex Dishong, 73, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 4:30 pm, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at The Waters of Wabash East. He was born on June 2, 1951, in Bluffton, Indiana, to Bertha (Hill) Smith.
Rex was involved with the Pathfinders Day Program. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and puzzle books, buying magazines, and sitting in his recliner covered up holding a book. Some of his favorite things were the color red, and Diet Coke. Rex gave the best hugs, and loved all the staff at Pathfinders.
He is survived by several brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Curt Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
