Rex Terry Teague, age 59, of Bismarck passed away Monday, September 16, 2024. He was born October 22, 1964 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the late Donald Lee Teague, Sr. and Clara “Shug” Teague. Rex enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, driving the old back roads, and just being outside. But, most of all, he loved God and his dog, Buddy. He said many times that he was ready to meet the Lord. In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Luckett of Caney.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kayce Teague Hartman (Kyle); granddaughters, Chandler and Logan Hartman of Kingston, Arkansas; brother, Donnie Teague (Tania) of Caney; cousin/sister, Sheila Williams (Steve) of Caney; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Brother James “Scooter” Dixon, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Morning Star Cemetery in Hot Springs.
Pallbearers are Alex Teague, Andy Bittinger, Bobby Bittinger, Doug McKim, Steve Dyess, and Ellis Hughes. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Twin Rivers Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia and the staff of DaVita Dialysis in Arkadelphia.
