Rex Tuggle

Rex Tuggle, born July 2, 1937, in Arkansas, passed away on January 23, 2026, in Lake Elsinore, California, surrounded by love.

Rex lived a full, hardworking life and was known by many as someone who gave more than he ever took. A respected general engineering contractor for 75 years, he poured his time and energy into his work and took real pride in it. While Rex was devoted to his work, those closest to him knew his love ran deep-steady, loyal, and unquestionable. His family knew that if they ever needed him, he would do anything for them.

For the last 50 years, Rex made his home in Lake Elsinore, where he built a life alongside his adoring wife of almost 55 years, Lenore Tuggle. He loved animals, working on the ranch with Lenore, and sharing his legendary "fish stories." Rex was a great storyteller, the kind of man who could keep everyone listening and laughing, and those stories will be remembered and retold for years to come.

Rex is survived by his beloved wife, Lenore Tuggle; his son, Brent Tuggle; his daughters, Yvonne Brown and Tammy Recksiek; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Collier.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Rex's ranch this spring. Details will be announced by the family as they become available.

Rex will be dearly missed and forever loved.
