Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory - LubbockIn the heart of Lubbock, Texas, a vibrant spirit took his last breath on December 4, 2025. Reyes Lozano, affectionately known as "Lil Ray," emerged into the world on June 21, 1979, an indelible mark of warmth and love destined to grace the lives of many. As a dedicated worker in the construction industry and a skilled Mudman, Reyes approached every task with an unwavering commitment and an infectious smile.
Reyes's life was woven with the rhythms of family, dancing, and the melodies of good music. Each moment spent with loved ones heightened his joy, creating a tapestry of cherished memories that will linger long after his absence. He brought to life a special kind of magic, one that was ignited during family gatherings where laughter resonated, feet tapped, and hearts swayed to the beats of their shared songs.
Reyes will be profoundly missed by his beloved family. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Donna Lozano, and three cherished children: Savanah Lozano, Marissa Rodriguez, both of Lubbock, and Anthony Lozano of Amarillo. His nurturing presence will be forever remembered by his Parents Fidencio and Emma Oyervidez, and his siblings: Jessica Lozano, Megan Lozano, Ragan Lucio, and Amanda Lozano, all of Lubbock. The love of five grandchildren, alongside a host of nieces and nephews, wraps around each memory of him like a warm embrace, reminding all of his immeasurable impact.
Reyes now joins the ranks of those who have passed, including his father, Reyes Ray Lozano Jr., brother Justin Lozano, and his grandparents: Lupe Constancio, Severo Garza, and Janie Stricklan. They welcome him back into their fold, where familial bonds continue to thrive beyond this earthly existence.
The celebration of Reyes's life will be held at the Venue on Broadway in Lubbock, where his essence will echo through the halls. A Visitation will take place on December 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt Celebration of Life on December 22, 2025, commencing at 10:00 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM. This occasion will serve as a testament to the legacy of love he imparted on those around him.
In the passing of Reyes Lozano, we lose a beacon of joy, a steadfast worker, a devoted family man whose spirit will continue to dance on in our hearts, reinforcing the truth that love binds us across time, transcending even the silence of absence.
