Rhea Cassidy Obituary
" If there ever comes a day where we can't be together keep me in your heart I'll stay there forever"
- Winnie The Pooh
On the evening of July 8, 2024 at 11: 36p.m Rhea Dawn Cassidy (Meyer), aged 56, entered into eternal rest at Majestic Care Nursing Facility located in Bedford Indiana.
Born in Paoli, Indiana, she spent her life nurturing a loving family.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when her sons needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she was cherished by all who knew her.
Rhea dedicated her life to her home and family as a homemaker, a role she embraced with love and pride. She found joy in keeping a tidy home. She loved to prepare delicious meals for her family.
She was an active member of the Eastview Baptist Church in Paoli, where she participated in various community and religious activities.
Known for her vibrant and outgoing personality, Rhea enjoyed a wide range of activities. She was an avid fan of fishing, camping, and playing cards. Her love for dancing and music was evident at many family gatherings and holiday parties. Rhea also cherished quiet moments, often found reading her Bible with a Pepsi in hand, or watching her favorite TV shows, including "Law and Order," "Murder She Wrote," and "Perry Mason." She had a passion for journaling and coloring, always picking up new markers on her trips to Walmart. When she wasn't purchasing markers, she would fill her cart with candles and wax melts. She loved collecting unicorns and real-life baby dolls, often picking up baby clothes at yard sales and flea markets.
She attended Paoli Community Schools and remained deeply connected to her roots and community throughout her life. Rhea-Dawn was a pillar in her church community, regularly attending services at Eastview Baptist Church where her memorial service will be held.
Rhea is survived by:
