Austin James Cassidy, born on February 11, 1998, was a remarkable individual whose presence painted the lives of many with warmth and compassion. He passed away suddenly from natural causes on July 14, 2025, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love, friendship, and dedication.
Austin was a great manager at McDonald's, known for his diligent work ethic and his heartfelt approach to leadership. He treated his staff as if they were his own family, creating an environment of camaraderie and support. Colleagues and patrons alike admired his unwavering commitment to both the business and the people within it.
Described by those who knew him as a big teddy bear and a true Mama's Boy, Austin's personality shone through in all aspects of his life. He was deeply loved and loved everyone in return. His children, Addison Cassidy and Brenden Cassidy, along with his fiancée, Cameron Mickle, were his entire world. Austin’s devotion to fatherhood and his role as a partner demonstrated the depth of his caring nature. He was also a cherished friend, forming bonds with many throughout his journey.
Austin had a variety of interests and hobbies that enriched his life. He found joy in fishing, celebrated the excitement of football as a devoted fan of both Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals, and was an avid movie watcher. These passions reflected his vibrant spirit and zest for life.
He was a proud pet owner, with a special affection for his dogs, particularly Max, who passed away not long before him. This bond showcased Austin's gentle heart and his ability to love without bounds.
Austin is survived by his loving parents, Sarah (Josh) Caudill and James Cassidy; his fiancée, Cameron Mickle; his children, Addison and Brenden; his siblings, Chase (Jillian) Cassidy, Gracee Cassidy, and Caydon Caudill; his step-sisters, Morgan Sparrow and Ashton Caudill; his grandparents, Randy Helton (LouAnn Gibson), Tony and Debbie Cassidy, Dianne Cassidy, and Darlene Caudill; and his great-grandparents, John & Dolly Woodcook and Delores Ramage. He also leaves behind numerous aunts & uncles, family, and friends who will remember him as a wonderful father, great man, and cherished companion.
He joins his late grandmothers, Debbie Helton, his grandfather, Timothy Caudill, in the eternal rest, leaving a void that will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Austin James Cassidy's life was a testament to love, kindness, and the importance of family, and his memory will forever be cherished.
