I am Beverly White of Oklahoma City, I am so sorry for your loss. I thought I would add a few words about Buddy. If I could find my early pictures I would share with you. Buddy and I started Kindergarten together at Columbus Grade School on South 25th and Penn. We were in the same classroom each grade until going to 7th grade. At Jackson Jr High I started hanging with girls and naturally he started hanging with the guys. Then at Capitol Hill High School we shared several classes. Buddy has always been a kind and gentle person. As a child Buddy and I had tetter-tottered, slided on the metal slide and tried to see who could swing the highest. In later years when we happened to attend the reunions for schools we always made sure to visit and attempt to catch up. As always, he was a kind and gentle man, and adding a little humorous side. Every time we had the chance to visit he would ask me to sing "Lavender Blue", a song I sang in the first grade. I know his children will need blessings for comfort of grief feeling now. I am sending this in hopes knowing a few things about his younger years might brighten your day. I knew in kindergarten Buddy would grow up to be a very good man and I knew he would be a wonderful disciple for Christ. I feel very honored that I knew him for a young portion of his life.
