Rhoda Ann Westphal, 87, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Sun City West, Arizona. Ann was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Delos C. Ballard & Vera L. (Mumford) Ballard on January 2, 1938. She was one of 5 children, growing up with sisters: Belva, NaDene and Twila and brother Delos C. Ballard Jr. She completed high school and had 1 year of college.

Ann worked as an Office Manager in the Wholesale/Retail industry for 40 years, retiring in 2006. While raising a family, she certainly stayed busy. Ann was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the International Daughters of Utah Pioneers Society. She will be remembered fondly and friends and family will miss her greatly.

Ann and Lake relocated from Lake Oswego, Oregon to Sun City West, Arizona in 1990. While enjoying the Arizona southwest landscape and the weather that allowed for year around activities and new friends, they settled in quickly. The family loved to visit and share the amenities that their new location had to offer.

Ann was predeceased by her parents Delos and Vera Ballard, sister Belva and her and the family was saddened at the passing of her loving daughter Alice in 2010 and her beloved Lake in 2025. Ann is survived by daughter Cindy and son Russell, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
