Oakdale-Funeral Services will be held for Rhonda Lynn Cloud, 61, at Christ Church of Oakdale on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10 o’clock a.m. Rev. Don Duplechain will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors and friends on Thursday evening, March 19, 2026, from 4-9 o ‘clock p.m. at Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Rhonda’s visitation will resume at Christ Church of Oakdale on Friday morning, March 20, 2026, from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Rhonda was a lifelong resident of Oakdale. She was a loving mom, grandmother, and daughter. She worked in her home taking care of her children and was a caregiver at Allen Oaks Retirement Center. She enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, and many outings on the sandbars of the Calcasieu River. Rhonda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She cherished her time with her grandbabies. Rhonda will be greatly missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Rhonda’s memory include her mother, Vermae O’Neal; two sons, David (Angela) Cloud, Jr. and Jacob Cloud; two brothers, Bobby Joe (Elsie) O’Neal and Elvis (Jennifer) O’Neal; one sister, Darlene Willis; “daughter-in-law”, Adraine Miller; the mother of Jacob Cloud’s children, Sierra Odom; brother-in-law, Michael Brady; and five grandchildren, Nevaeh Cloud, Jaxson Cloud, Jaylin Guillory, Colby Malik and Ayden Malik.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her father, Calvin Ware; her husband, Johnny Ray Ashworth; her son, Jeremiah Joseph “Jeremy” O’Neal; one brother, Jason Wade Eastwood; two sisters, Doris Abrusley and Wanda Brady and her niece, Terrie O’Neal.
