Rhonda Emerson, 67 of Assumption, IL, passed away on October 3, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 26, 1955, in Taylorville, IL, to William Jones and Janet (German) Jones. She married Ron Emerson on January 21, 1977, in Taylorville and he survives.
Rhonda loved her husband and family. She loved getting her entire family together for holidays and family meals. She loved spending her time at the lake and pulling the tube behind the boat. She loved decorating her house for Christmas so much that she had 2 rooms dedicated to it for storage. She loved her ranger rides. She especially loved our annual Easter kickball games. She was very organized with everything she did, down to her grocery lists for her Saturday morning shopping. She loved baking and trying new Pinterest recipes. Most of all, her time with her family was what she loved dearly. We will miss her until our last breaths.
