Rhonda Faye Glass, 72, of Tipton, passed away, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
She was born on May 4, 1953, in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Roy and Sylvia Smith. In 1982 she married Robert Glass who survives of the home.
Rhonda attended the Assembly of God Church in Tipton. She worked for many years at Tipton Oak Manor in the housekeeping department, where she was known for her hard work, dedication, and kind spirit toward both residents and co-workers.
A simple and down-to-earth person, Rhonda found joy in the little things. She loved her dogs dearly, always caring for them as part of her family. Her greatest happiness, however, came from the time she spent with her family—especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Rhonda cherished every moment with them.
Survivors include her husband Robert of 43 years; five children, Corey Hess of Oregon, Christy Hess of Jefferson City, MO, Michael Hill (Tina) of Tipton, MO, Stephanie Kirk of Arizona, Eddie Burnett of Sedalia, MO; 12 grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Mariah, Betty, Aubrey, Jayden, Dakota, Trae, Hailey, Katlyn, Brianna, and Abigail; and 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roy Smith, Allen Smith, and Randy Smith.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
