Mrs. Rhonda Cavil Palmer

Rhonda Rachelle Cavil-Palmer was born to the parentage of Betty Jean Lewis and Dwight Lee Cavil in Cameron, Texas on July, 22, 1970. She attended YOE high school where she completed and went on to the Army where Rhonda proudly dedicated herself to her country. Rhonda also furthered her education in other areas with business post her military career. Ms. Rhonda Cavil Palmer transitioned Thursday, January 25 2024 at Sentara Careplex Hospital, Hampton, VA. In her typical fashion she was surrounded by her beautiful family. Just like she would have done on a typical Sunday evening, sadly for this occasion it was not to enjoy her delicious cooking. She was lifted in prayer, song, and laughter until her departure. She was known as a light and the life of the party to those who loved her. To anyone who had the honor of knowing her says she loved them extraordinarily. She loved with a compassion and fierceness that only she was capable of. All those who love her can agree to is how immensely she will be missed. She had a way of making whoever she encountered feel special creating many unique and special relationships.
Rhonda created a legacy and leaves behind to mourn her 1 daughter, 5 sons and 3 daughter-in-laws: Latrista Shauntriece May, Stephan Shaundres Lewayne May, Timothy Michael Olashidae Cavil, Dwight O'neil Palmer, Carlos O'neil Palmer Jr, Gabriel Micah Cavil, Courtney,Nicole, and Taina all of Newport News Virginia. 13 grandchildren(Jhza'Marion, Ky-Shaun, La'Niyah, Stephan, Rondollyn, Jazzlyn, Alijah, Cayson, Cannon, Bentley,Dallas, Amir and Alani) and more to come add to her legacy. Two sisters and a brother, Rachel Renee Holts of Ft. Walton FL, Karen Cavil of Temple Texas, and Dwight Oshay Malloy of Roundrock Texas. As well she leaves behind nephews(Rickey and Teester, niece(Marquesia), and great nieces(Lil Miss, Jazzy) and great nephews( King and Josiah) and a number of other relatives and friends that she loved and cared for deeply.
It is the desire of the Cavil-Palmer family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
The family of Mrs. Rhonda Cavil Palmer-has entrusted her final care to C. C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
