Ricardo Duran Obituary
Ricardo Duran, age 30, passed away on October 21, 2024. He was born on April 10, 1994, in Habersham, GA, and is the son of Maria Angelica Campos Leon and Benjamin Duran Velazquez.
Ricardo is survived by his wife, Maria de Lourdes Chavez Arroyo; two sons, Emilio Alexander Duran Chavez and Liam Andres Duran Chavez; siblings, Benjamin Duran Jr. (Margarita Rodriguez Cortés), Paulina Duran Contreras (Daniel Contreras Chavez), Jessica Duran (Michael Ryan Varana), and Armando Duran (Jessica Renya).
Ricardo was a devoted family man who treasured every moment spent with his loved ones every time he had the opportunity, he would travel to Mexico to see his wife and kids. He found great joy in fishing and staying active at the gym, always taking pride in his appearance. Even after a long run, he was impeccably dressed. Ricardo had a passion for exploring the mountains, always on the lookout for new scenic views, a lake to fish at or finding a red velvet cupcake to enjoy. He was known for his intellectual curiosity, constantly challenging himself.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 12:00 PM at St. Helena Catholic Church with Father Luis Alvarez officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 PM – 12:00 PM prior to the service.
