Ricardo "Jojo" A. Javier, Jr., 61, of Garland passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 in a Dallas hospital. Visitation with the family will be 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9 at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Jojo was born April 18, 1964 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania while his father, Dr. Ricardo Javier was finishing his medical residency. The family later moved to West Virginia before settling in Hubbard where Dr. Javier had a longtime medical practice. Jojo attended public schools in Hubbard and was a 1982 graduate of Hubbard High School before earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Austin College in Sherman in 1986. He later attended McLennan Community College in Waco where he obtained an Associates Degree in Nursing in 1999. Jojo worked at Medical City of Dallas for over 18 years where he was an RN in the Neurovascular ICU.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Ricardo and Aurora Javier.

Survivors include two brothers, Ruel Javier of Garland and Raymond P. Javier of North Richland Hills; two sisters, Gina Javier-Donnell and husband, Pat of West and Aileen Stone and husband, Randy of Willow Park; five nieces and nephews, Peyton, Gavin and Kensi Javier-Donnell of West, Rick and Natalie Stone of Willow Park and Alyssa and John Kriter of Denver, Colorado, and a host of very close and dear friends including his NVICU work family.
