Ricky will truly be missed.He along with his parents have serviced my entire family and so many in my Mangohick neighborhood! I have known Ricky since our days at John M Gandy school and admired him as he became a dedicated business man who continued the legacy of his parents.He has provided services to my family and my husband's family and was always courteous and professional.Many years ago, Ricky gave my father, the late Rev. John E. Gordon, Sr. the opportunity to serve as chaplain at H.W. Dabney's. That gesture meant a lot to my father and our family. Ricky will be missed. This is very hard for me because me and rick go back to sand box days/the dirt battle / and pellet guns up until we got real hunting guns/ fishing and u name it and then we became real close as we grew up hanging out fighting and parting and i really going to miss you my friend we did it all/ and to the family i`m very sorry for you lost because i lost also will never be another rick.

To the family of Rick, my prayers and thoughts are with you. Just know God has you in His hands.
Through Rick's illness I spoke with him from time to time and found his strength to be remarkable. I had the opportunity to speak with him about 2 weeks ago and he told me he was going to call me back, but God called him home.
Rick has been my loyal customer for more than 20 years. The Advertising Specialist has served the funeral home with fans, calendars and pens yearly. Each year it was an experience to remember. Rick and I shared many laughs doing business through the years.
I will cherish the memories and the compassion he showed for business.
No more pain or suffering, rest on my friend.
