Richard Edward Angelo, 70, passed away October 22, 2023 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, where he resided. He was born November 4, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Jennie Angelo and Tony Angelo.
A devout catholic, Rich was also an active member of the Knight's of Columbus. Rich was happily retired and spent as much time as possible traveling the world and spending time with family and friends.
He was the best partner, father, grandfather, and papa to all who knew and loved him.
Richard is survived by his life partner, Peggy Benson; daughters, Staci Green and Laura Thompson (Brian Thompson); grandchildren, Adam Green, Brooklyn Smith, Adrianna Thompson and Nicholas Thompson; sister, Rosemary Gamble; as well as nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Rita Catholic Church on 22 Saint Rita Lane in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, 32459. Visitation begins at 10:30 a.m.
