Richard Angileri Obituary
Richard Carl Angileri, 77 of Arbor Vitae, WI and formerly Wood Dale, IL, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 9, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Rose (nee Piazza) Angileri.
Richard married the love of his life, Joan, on September 14, 1967 and together they shared 56 wonderful years. Richard and Joan were residents in Wood Dale, IL, where they raised their daughter, Mia. In retirement, they were able to move to the Northwoods where Richard's passion for photography flourished while being surrounded by nature. In his free time, he loved watching movies with a glass of red wine.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Joan (nee Passananti); daughter, Mia Angileri; and grandson, Maximus Angileri, who was his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Salvator "Sonny" Angileri.
In lieu of flowers, please consider supporting Richard's love of nature by planting a tree in his honor at www.arborday.org.
A celebration of life will be held closer to Richard's birthday in July of 2024.
