Richard Allan “Rick” Aycock

RICHARD "RICK" AYCOCK, 72, of North Little Rock, AR, died May 24, 2024. He was born September 20, 1951, in North Little Rock, to Ned and Margaret Clough Aycock. He is survived by a brother, Chris (Brenda) Aycock and many cousins & friends.
Rick attended Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, Arkansas, and graduated from Sewanee Military Academy in Tennessee. He then attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
For twenty-seven years Rick owned Undercar, a successful auto repair shop in North Little Rock.
A man blessed with many talents, Rick was a gifted artist, exceptional photographer, and as a youth an outstanding athlete. His most cherished hobby was sailing his boat on Lake Ouachita. He spent many enjoyable hours on the lake with his “sailing buddies” and his beloved dog, Matey.
Rick will be lovingly remembered as loyal and generous to his customers and everyone in his wide social circle. Remembering his warm smile and kind heart will comfort all who knew this gentle man.
Rick was a Christian with strong faith in Jesus Christ and broad knowledge of the Bible.
Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
