Richard Benna Obituary

At the age of 77, after a long struggle with Parkinsons Disease and recent lung cancer, Richard has passed into eternal rest. He was the son of the late George W. Sr. and the late Elsie (Lohrey) Benna.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Darlene Noar and George W. Jr. Also preceded by his great niece, Julie Minihan, and his beloved cat, Ms. Kitty
Richard is survived by his devoted companion Olga Parik; his sister Charmaine Cosentino (Bernard); his nieces, Kimberley Minihan, Cheri Skertich, Jackie Benna, Michelle DePaulo and Jennifer Kite; along with several other family members and friends.
Richard retired from Allegheny County Parks and Recreation where he worked for many years at the North Park Golf Course. He had a love for the outdoors and sports. He enjoyed gardening, hiking, biking, fishing and golfing. He enjoyed hockey and had season tickets to the Pittsburgh Penguins for many years.
Rick will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.
