William Dale Wilson

William Dale Wilson was born on August 20, 1952, in Lakewood, Ohio. He was the son of the late Ollie L. and A. Elizabeth (Brown) Wilson. Bill passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the age of 73. He was a longtime resident of Pine Township.

Bill spent his childhood years in Parma, Ohio, and West Des Moines, Iowa, where he graduated from Valley High School. It was here that he met his future wife of many years, the late Jamilee (Nelson). Bill graduated from the University of Iowa, where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. After living and working across the Midwest and the East Coast, Bill retired from Wells Fargo after years of dedicated service. Throughout his career, he held a variety of roles, eventually becoming regional manager. After retirement, Bill worked as the office manager at Professional Pools, where he developed many lasting friendships.

Bill will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his many skills, and his willingness to help others. Those who knew Bill know how much he enjoyed staying busy and learning new things. A man of many talents, he enjoyed baking homemade bread and could often be found working on a project around the house. Whether fixing something, building something, or helping a friend or family member, Bill was always willing to lend a hand. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing - especially sitting around the camp stove reminiscing and telling stories. Bill even took pride in making his own ammunition for himself and his friends. Bill spread laughter among the people he loved with his unique brand of wit and mischievousness.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Bobbi, and her children, Larkin and granddaughter Ella; Taylor Misplay (Sara) and granddaughters Alyssa and Rachel; sister Carol Williamson (Rick); nephews Scott Williamson (Alyssa) and Brett Williamson (Shannon); great-nephew Jack Williamson; son-in-law Mike Marro
