Richard Andrew Beu, age 67, husband of Deborah Beu, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Heritage Funeral Home from 12:30-2:30 PM with a funeral service at 2:30 with Pastor Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be on Friday June 6, 2025 at 12 PM EST at Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Richard was born on April 12, 1958 to the late Robert Beu and Virginia Beu. Richard and his beloved wife, Deborah, celebrated forty years of marriage. He was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. An avid sports photographer, he was known for taking photos at numerous sporting events in the Columbia and Nashville areas. A talented musician, he played the piano, tuba, saxophone, and bass guitar. He enjoyed his time playing in his “old man” band. An avid antique collector, he enjoyed collecting stamps, rocks, and model trains. He enjoyed going on cruises and traveling, one of his favorite spots for a quick getaway was Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was known as a computer guru and this led to his career as an IT Specialist.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his sons, Joshua (Jessica) Beu, Jonathan (Katie) Beu, Jacob Beu (Mary), Jordan Beu (Trisha), brother, Thomas (Mesbeth) Beu, sister, Jill (John) Pratt, and grandson, Zachary Beu.
