BINGELL, Richard P. Of Dedham, on January 25, 2026, at age 92. Beloved foster son of the late Elizabeth V. McNaught. Loved and survived by many members of the Foster and Diehl families. Member of the Boston Globe Stereotypers and Security Depts. Past President of the Globe Quarter Century Club.

Member of the Dedham Knights of Columbus, the Dedham Retired Men's Club and its Bowling League.

Richard was for many years a Eucharistic Minister at St. Susanna Parish. Richard enjoyed traveling all over the U.S., visiting baseball stadiums and national parks, as well as many parts of Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. His final trip was to the Holy Land, where he rode a camel in Jericho and took a dip in the Dead Sea before his last stop, Jerusalem.

Visiting Hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY, on Monday, February 2, from 3-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, February 3, at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 420 High St., Dedham, at 10 a.m. All friends invited.
