Richard A. Bollman, age 68, of Kimball, died Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball with visitation 2 hours prior. Burial will follow at Kimball Cemetery.

Richard Anthony Bollman was born on January 21, 1957, in Richfield, Minnesota to Charles and Magdalen (Kramer) Bollman. Rick grew up in the Twin Cities, and in the 1970s, his family made the move to Kimball. He spent his formative years attending St. Richard's Catholic School and later Kimball High School.

On August 28, 1986 in Watertown, South Dakota, Rick married Kristi Adolph, sharing their lives and dreams until her tragic passing in 1994. He devoted himself to raising their three children, in addition to working as a backhoe operator. As a Heavy Equipment Operator for Local 49, Rick embraced the challenges of construction with the same vigor he approached everything else, showcasing his unwavering commitment and work ethic.

A man of the outdoors, Rick found joy in the companionship of nature, whether he was hunting or fishing. He cherished family gatherings at their cabin in Leader, MN, and spending time at the golf course. Above all, Rick treasured the moments spent with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Josh (Candace) Bollman of Litchfield, Luke (Erin) Bollman of Kimball, and Kayla (Nick) Voit of Big Lake; 5 grandchildren, Kayden, Amery, Wyatt, Tallan, and Teagan; step-grandchildren, Quinten and Kyza; brother, Robert (Sheila) Bollman of Elko; siblings-in-law, Paula Bollman, Bill (Brenda) Adolph and Barb Borgerding; and many nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kristi; brother, Tony; nephews, Donny Bollman and Chris Bollman; brother-in-law, Bob Borgerding; and parents-in-law, William and Charlotte Adolph.

Nick Voit, Todd Fischer, Justin Adolph, and Matt Adolph will serve as urn bearers for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services.

God Bless Rick, Kristi, and Charlotte Adolf . May their souls rest in peace amongst the aurora lights of heavens skies. Rick offered friendship to me with sometimes curved to the winds a sea of life's events, (Charlotte and Kristi) genuinely cared driving( 7 miles out of town) to pick me up for softball practice, Charlotte as our softball coach, Charlotte right upstairs of me in the St. Cloud Hospital with cancer. Kristi visiting me delivering a poem Charlotte found in a book with a vase of roses for my new born son, Jessie Scott Landwehr and myself. God Bless all of you sincerely.
