Richard Bowden Obituary

Mr. Richard Clarence Bowden, age 60, of East- anollee, Ga., passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at his home.
Born Feb. 27, 1963 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Billy Noah and Joyce Smith Bowden.
Richard was of the Bap- tist faith and was em- ployed with E. R. Snell Contractors as a heavy equipment operator. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing. Richard loved spending time with his sons and grandchil- dren.
Family members in- clude his sons, Justin Bowden and Bryan Bow- den both of Eastanollee; the mother of his children, Toni Bowden; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Joseph Wachira of Toccoa; grandchildren,
Dalen Cade Caudell-Bow- den and Lila Gavina-Bow- den; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close fami- ly friend, Patty Hatch, (for- mer sister-in-law).
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Buddy and Cloia Bowden and Clarence and Pearl Smith; sister, Symantha Bowden, and brother, Delane Bow- den.
Mr. Bowden's wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned.
