Richard Michael Bowen

Lansing – Richard "Dick" Michael Bowen, 82 of Lansing, MI passed away at home on December 5, 2025.
Dick was born November 5, 1943 to the late Henry Richard and Margaret (McAdam) Bowen in Adrian, MI. He was a graduate of Adrian Catholic Central High School and was a brick layer by profession. He served our country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Mobile Construction Battalion 133 and worked on a sensitive military project during his time in DaNang, Vietnam.
Upon his return, Dick continued his profession as a bricklayer for nearly 45 years. He worked for various construction companies in the Lansing Capital area (J&J Masonry, Creative Masonry, Davenport Masonry, Schiffer Masonry).
Dick was always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge to help those around him. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time, especially at "the lake."
Dick will be greatly missed by his four children Bob, Ric, Chad (Kim), and Keri (Deb), and by his four grandchildren Allison, Courtney, William, and Alex. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Jacqueline (Bowen) Dowling and Mark R. Bowen of Adrian, MI.
Visitation for Richard will take place, Monday, December 29, 2025, from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home - Adrian, with a Funeral Service taking place at 11:30 am. Burial for Richard will take place at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian, Michigan.
