An inurnment service for Richard D. Boyd, 79, of Temple will be Friday, January 2, 2026, 1:00PM at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 5001 Hickory Road, Temple, TX.
Mr. Boyd died December 17, 2025 in a Temple Veterans Hospice after an extended illness.
Mr. Boyd was born November 28, 1946 in Gary, Indiana, the son of Glen and Florence Kemper Boyd. He served in the United States Army twice, from 1965-1968 and then from 1975-1979. He married Clarice Murray in November of 1979. They made their home in Temple. He worked for Mobil Chemical for ten years.
Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Linda Riddle.
Survivors include his wife Clarice Murray Boyd, and daughter Victoria (Vicki) Boyd.
Memorials may be made to the DAV.
