Richard Eric Bradley, affectionately known as "Skippy," was born on June 2, 1975, in Asheville, North Carolina, to the late Denver Eric Bradley and Sandy Penland. He departed this life on November 5, 2025, at the age of 50, in Hendersonville, North
Carolina. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Mullen.
A graduate of T.C. Roberson High School, Richard dedicated his career to the Metropolitan Sewerage District (MSD), where he served with integrity, hard work, and unwavering commitment. The times he spent with his "lake family" - surrounded by water, laughter, and campfire stories - brought him deep happiness and lifelong friendships.
Richard's memory will be lovingly carried forward by his devoted wife of 18 years, Mandy Bradley; his children, Cody Lambert, Candace Lambert (Bryce), and Sabbath Zwiercan; his loving second mother, Beth Bradley; his sister, Sarah Bradley Angel (Brett); and his brothers, Travis Edwards and Michael Smith. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, Riley and Reagan, and by his beloved grandchildren,
Mason Bradley and Emma Grace, who were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent laughing, playing, and sharing stories with them.
A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Ridgeway Baptist Church, located at 525 Old US 19/23 Hwy, Candler, North Carolina 28715. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation at 2:00 p.m., followed by a service in his honor at 3:00 p.m.
