We regret to announce the passing of Richard D. Bramwell, aged 74, who passed away peacefully on June 13th, 2024 in Buda, TX after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
Richard worked for many years with Advanced Micro Devices in Austin, TX. He was a respected member of his profession and known for his patience, friendly disposition, and attention to detail. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Richard was a devoted family man, who loved his wife, sons, and grandchildren above all else. He was a beloved husband to Jeanne, and a devoted father to Douglas and Joseph. His sweet nature and sense of humor made him a cherished and loyal friend to many.
In his free time, Richard enjoyed the great game of golf, which brought him much joy and relaxation. He was also a lover of animals and a part-time drummer with the Mt. Olive Lutheran Praise Team.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jeanne Bramwell, his sons, Douglas and Joseph, his daughters-in-law, Jenny and April, his grandchildren, Bella, Gracie, Beau, Fox, and Lucy, and his half-sister, Marion O'Donnell.
A celebration of life service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle, TX on Saturday, July 13th at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PGA Hope.
Richard will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and colleagues.
