Richard Bray Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 2, 2025.
Richard Lee Bray, 77, of Largo, FL, went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2025.

Born in Norfolk, VA, on January 13, 1948, Richard recently retired from proudly owning and operating his roofing and inspection company in the Tampa Bay area for more than 40 years. In years past, he was a member of Calvary Community Church in Tampa, where he once joyfully sang in the choir and cooked many meals for them.

Richard had a wide variety of passions, including football, fishing, hunting, karaoke, gaming and tv watching his favorite crime and game shows. He especially loved helping others, always giving of himself with generosity and kindness.

He will be deeply missed by his favorite girl, Eileen Young; his beloved daughter and daddy's little girl, Christine Kelly; his beloved precious granddaughter, Kyah Morgan; and his two great granddaughters. He also leaves behind many longtime dear friends in Alabama and Tampa, and newer friendships in Largo, Seminole, Clearwater, and Oldsmar.

Richard's warm smile, kind heart, and generosity will never be forgotten by the many lives he touched and they will celebrate his life in their own way.
