Richard Bright Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 22, 2022.
August 17, 1936 - September 17, 2022
Richard Kay Bright was born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, on August 17, 1936. He passed away peacefully in his sleep and entered fully into the presence of the Lord at the age of 86.
Richard (Dick) is survived by his wife, Karen Marie, eight children (Marion, Geoffrey, Peace, Joy, Mercy, Peter, James & Matthew), 23 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
Dick married his wife on June 21, 1958, and they were married over 64 years. Throughout their years together, they sought the Lord with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their strength (Deuteronomy 4:29) and their testimony and walk with the Lord had multi-generational implications. Our dad meant the world to his wife, children, and grandchildren and he will be profoundly missed.
A visitation for Richard will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:30 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas. Following the service a committal will be held at St. John's Cemetery, 2071 Westinghouse Rd., Georgetown, TX 78626.
The wake and funeral ceremony will be via livestream on the day of the service.
