I met Richard on the stairwell of my apartment building when I was just moving in. He introduced himself and we quickly became friends. It didn't take him long to introduce me to everyone in the building. I was afraid, because this was the first time that I was alone and away from family, but Richard became my new family. He was like a close brother and always willing to lend a hand, if needed. It was August 1986 when we first met, and I still remember his face, his voice, his excitement concerning almost everything, especially work. I could hardly wait to see him when he came home from work late afternoon. Then I would leave for work around 6:15 PM. He was the highlight of my days. We lost contact when he moved, I believe California, but I never forgot him. Rest in peace my friend. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, 2Corinthians 5:8.

Glad I was able to pay respects today to Richard and meet his amazing mom and three younger sisters. Terrific eulogy by Cindy bringing to life some of the "best of" collection of RAB´s vast library of material to keep us laughing and engaged. Prayers to the family and thanks to RAB for a lot of great memories as it never felt like work while at Guinness and Maxfli

Very sad to hear of Richards passing. Definitely one of the Atlanta beer business legends. Gone way to soon but his memory will live on forever.

My deepest sympathy to Richard's family and friends for the loss of one dynamic personality. He will be sorely missed, but I know he's upstairs teaching someone that slap your hands and say "who's your daddy" routine he always pulled on me. I'm sure he just liked to hear my giggle. Miss you already Mr Fab ....
