Joan Marie Kroese

Joan Marie (Coyle) Kroese passed away on October 31, 2025 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, who she was married to for 72 years. She was a member of Mt Carmel Church where she was a longtime school and church volunteer and devoted hours to ensure the church altar was beautifully decorated for all occasions.
Later in life, she became a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of Knickerbocker Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf with her girlfriends. During the 1970's, she returned to college to pursue another interest of hers. She attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where she received her BA in Fine Arts graduating at the top of her class. She continued this love of the arts and joined the Ridgewood Art Institute as a member and student for 30 years. She was also a member of the Marco Island Outdoor Artists who traveled to various locations capturing the beauty of the island.
She will be dearly missed by her 4 children, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and extended family. Forever in our hearts. services for Joan were held privately by the family.
