Mr. Richard Harold Bryant, age 72
Of: Waverly, TN passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at his home with his wife by his side. He was born July 25, 1951, in Marion, Arkansas.
Richard's professional journey was marked by excellence and dedication. He began his career in 2010 as a private consultant for Quality Steel and later became their communications director until he retired in 2022. For twelve years, Richard played a pivotal role in shaping the company's image and strengthening its presence in the industry. His commitment to his work never wavered, and he left an indelible mark on all those he worked with.
Beyond his career, Richard embraced numerous hobbies and interests that brought joy to his life. He was an avid supporter of the University of Memphis Tigers and the Memphis Grizzlies. Richard firmly believed in the power of essential oils for well-being and enjoyed exploring their benefits. His green thumb was evident in the beautiful gardens he nurtured, complete with a tranquil coy pond that served as a sanctuary for reflection and peace.
One of Richard's proudest accomplishments took root at the age of sixteen when he decided to pursue his passion for music. He moved to Memphis where he immersed himself in the vibrant music scene. As a talented piano player, Richard graced the stages of the Shelby County Fair every year, captivating audiences with his skillful performances. Recognized for his talent, he also had the privilege of recording several records at Sun Studio in Memphis – a testament to his dedication and love for music.
Mr. Bryant’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned per his request.
