Richard R. Bugaj

LITTLE FALLS – Mr. Richard R. Bugaj, "Dick," 84, of West Fiery Hill Road, passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on November 4, 2023.
He was born on August 7, 1939, in Little Falls, New York, a son of the late Zygmunt and Frances (McGraith) Bugaj. He attended Little Falls schools and served our country with the United States Air Force, 1957 until 1963. He was united in marriage to Wendy L. DeMag, in 2000. Dick worked construction with Laborers Union, Local #35, Utica, New York and was honored with over 50 years of service. He loved to hunt and fish and took great pride in gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy; his children, daughters, Lisa Bugaj, and Rebecca Fredericks and her husband Dale; his son, Joshua Bugaj; his beloved grandchildren, Brianna (her husband, Matt) and Rice and Cole Fredericks; his great-grandchildren, Kallen and Ava Rice; his siblings, Kenneth Bugaj and Karen Sager (her husband, Dick); as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws; and his loving canines, Harmony and Diesel.
He was predeceased by his parents, Zygmunt and Frances; his sons, Brett and Zygmunt "Ziggy" Bugaj; and his brother, Terrance Bugaj.
Funeral Graveside Services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at Ostrander Cemetery, West Fiery Hill Road, Town of Danube, New York. A prayer will be held as well as full military honors.
Those wishing to remember Dick in a special way are asked to consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Envelopes will be available at the service on Monday, or from the Enea Family Funeral Home.
