Kathleen.
Debbie, Morgan and I are so sorry to hear about Richard's passing. We also loved talking to both of you, whether at Jr NBA or in the neighborhood. He was a great man and will definitely be missed. You are in our thoughts.

Dearest Kathy, Devon, and the family of Richard Caine....
We are beyond devastated to hear of Richard's passing. Please forgive our poor attempt at words of sympathy as they will never be able to convey the ache in our hearts. It was at Riverside Gallery in Warrensburg, New York, where I first met Richard many years ago when he came in to have a Native American artifact preserved and framed. Our shared interst in the Native culture led us to become fast friends outside of the shop that he and his family frequented over the years. He was a truly unique man, that seem to have a boundless energy that infected all whose lives he touched. On many occasions he visited my husband and I at reenactments with a shared love and appreciation of history.
Always when we saw him there was a huge smile on his face and an ever present glint in his eye. He certainly had a zest for life and loved his family more than anything. We feel incredibly blessed that he was our friend. Hoping his new journey will be peaceful. According to the Native beliefs....there is no death....only a change of worlds.
May you take comfort in knowing how much this man was not just truly respected, but also deeply loved.
With deepest sympathy, love and hugs to all of you.

Dear Kathy and Devon,
Glen and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of our dear friend Richard. He was and is in our mind a beautiful, loving and generous soul. We are blessed to have such wonderful memories of times we shared with all of you. We are consoled knowing that his faith in our Lord was strong and steadfast as is yours. We pray that our heavenly fathers golden thread of mercy binds you up. Our prayers are with you and Devon.
