Richard Caliri Obituary

Mr. Richard F. Caliri Sr., 87 of Story Rd. in Salem died on Wednesday at his late residence. He is the husband of Marjorie I. (Stillman) Caliri with whom he shared over 50 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, he is a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1934. Mr. Caliri has been a Salem resident for the past 40 years. In 1947 he began working as a mechanic for General Electric in the Riverworks plant in the gear plant in Building 57 and retired in 1980.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed household projects. He was a member of the Salem Loyal Order of Moose and is a member of Local #201 I.U.E. AFL-CIO. Mr. Caliri was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps. During WWII.

In addition to his wife he leaves 3 sons, Richard F. Caliri Jr. of Lynn and his wife Lisa, Ronald M. Caliri of Marblehead and his wife Elizabeth and Robert K. Caliri, a daughter Karen A. Fisher of Dover NH. And her husband Bill. Grandfather of Nicholas, Christopher, Brandon, Caroline, Ryan, Michelle Kiley and Jennifer Fisher. Brother of the late Edward, Joseph, Charles and Frank Caliri, Lillian Caliri, Frances Maglieri, Angie Woodworth, Agatha Wentworth and Rose Flynn.

Funeral services will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street Lynn on Monday at 11:30 am. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn.

Caliri and Karen A. Fisher of Dover NH. And her husband Bill. Grandfather of Nicholas, Christopher, Brandon, Caroline, Ryan, Michelle Kiley and Jennifer Fisher.

Brother of the late Edward, Joseph, Charles and Frank Caliri, Lillian Caliri, Frances Maglieri, Angie Woodworth, Agatha Wentworth and Rose Flynn.

Funeral services will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street Lynn on Monday at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6 pm. Donations in his memory may be sent to the Hospice of the north Shore 10 Elm Street Danvers MA. 01923.
