Richard is survived by his mother, Ines Canto; former wife Angela; children, Richard, II, Jasmine and Justus; siblings, Roger, Elio, Barbara and his twin brother, Robert. Hs is preceded in death by his father, Elio D. Canto,
Richard was born on January 12, 1970 in New York, NY to Ines and Elio D. Canto. After moving down to Hollywood, FL, Richard began working across South Florida as a Chief Engineer. Richard and Angela welcomed three children into their home. His children remember him as a loving and devoted father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Richard was accomplished in engineering and building operation and was known for his problem-solving skills and strong work ethic. He was a driven individual who loved his animals, Stryker and Chooch, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Friday, December 26th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 10:00pm with an additional viewing on Saturday, December 27th from 5:00pm - 10:00pm all at Landmark Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 27th at 6:00pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Richard's life.
The service on Saturday will be livestreamed via Facebook.
