Richard Carpenter Obituary

Richard Thomas Carpenter, Sr., age 88, died January 16, 2023, at Presque Isle, ME. He was born in Moro Plantation, ME, on September 1, 1934, the son of the late Charles and Flora (Brackett) Carpenter. He married Ada O'Neil and she predeceased him in July of 2021. Mr. Carpenter was a self-employed mechanic, and owned and operated Carpenter Service for many years. He is survived by his children, Richard T. Carpenter, Jr., of Wallingford, CT, Linda Salch and husband Raymond of Caribou, ME, Kathy Lyn Barnes of Fort Fairfield, ME, and Kim Albair of Moro Plantation, ME, his grandchildren, Brandy Scalzo, Alexa, Raymond III, Matthew, Philip, and Ursula Salch, Richard Carpenter III, Tommie Carpenter, John, Carry, and Gary Paradis, Zachary, Sara, and Cody Barnes, Erica Race, and Shayanne Albert, several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Carpenter was predeceased by a daughter Susan Marie Michaud.
