Mr. Carter, I did not know nearly as long as I would have liked to! From the second I met you, I felt like I'd known you for years. I remember your coyote scream ringtone that made me jump :) You have such a kind soul that made us all feel at ease in your presence. What a wonderful, upstanding, true Southern gentleman that I will not soon forget as you have become family. Your wife, Leo, Nick and family are in my prayers. Rest easy sir!

I can´t believe this special guy is not among us anymore. He never failed to brighten my day and make me believe any difficult matter could be overcome. Richard had the cheeriest outlook of anyone I´ve known. I will miss him and will never forget him.
