Richard W. Chamberlin ObituaryRichard Wilson Chamberlin Sr was born on November 21, 1925, in Cranbury, New Jersey, and passed at the age of 99 on March 1, 2025. He grew up on a farm in New Jersey and proceeded to join the Army at the age of 17. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, then served as a sheet metal mechanic when he was stationed in Guam.
Richard worked in government service for 38 years, first in refrigeration service, then as a contract specialist. He met his wife Dorothy through her father, who was a coworker, and they married in 1959. They built a house in Howell, New Jersey in 1965, and raised a family with 6 kids. He always enjoyed gardening and being outside, making Colorado the perfect choice for their move in 1996. Richard and Dorothy enjoyed their retirement together.
Richard is survived by his wife, Dorothy Chamberlin; sons, Richard Jr. (Mary Therese), Randy (Rosa), and Glen (Boglarka); daughter, Jennifer (Dave), and 9 grandchildren.
