It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Lavern Clark, age 26, on February 28, 2025. Richard's bright light in this world was extinguished far too soon, but the warmth of his contagious smile and generous spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Richard is survived by his Father, Ricky L. Clark, 58, of Hammond; Brothers Shayne M. Clark, 32, of Oswego, James F. Clark, 28, of Baldwinsville, Nieces Sophia R. Clark, 11, of Fulton, Astrea C. Clark, 5 months, of Oswego, Nephew Castiel C. Clark, 2, of Oswego ; and his beloved dog, Kamora, who was the center of his world. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol L. Delaney of Sterling and his brother Casey M. Clark of Fulton.
When not working, Richard found joy in life's simple pleasures. Camping under the stars, fishing in quiet waters, and listening to music that moved his soul. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his faithful companion Kamora and hanging out with his close friends, creating memories that will now be cherished forever.
Those who knew Richard will remember his exceptionally big heart and his willingness to help anyone in need. His generosity knew no bounds. He would drop everything to lend a hand to family, friends, or even strangers. Richard's smile could light up any room, and his positive energy was truly contagious to everyone around him.
Though his time with us was brief, Richard lived with passion and kindness that touched countless lives. His legacy of selflessness and joy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Richard, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
