Richard "Dick" Glenn Cobb

September 21, 1938 - January 21, 2026

Richard "Dick" Glenn Cobb, 87, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Dick was born on September 21, 1938, in Independence, Iowa, the son of Harold and Susie (Strickel) Cobb. He graduated from Waterloo East High School. Dick devoted 30 years to working at King's Material Ready Mix before retiring in 1996. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, bear hunting and fishing in Canada, spending time with family, and relaxing at the cabin in Wisconsin.

Survivors include his children, Marshall (Patti) Cobb, Lori (Toby) Brown, and Kyle (Sheila) Cobb; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Susie Cobb; and his sisters, Carole Cobb and Dorothy Maltas.
