Mr. Richard Hill Conner, age 67 of Stuart, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. He was born in Patrick County on June 25, 1958 to the late Vance Conner and Clemmie Stultz. In addition to his parents, Mr. Conner was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Harbour Conner; and a sister, Ann Bowling. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being around all of his friends and family.
Mr. Conner is survived by a daughter, April Wright of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; a grandson, Mason Wright of Ferrum; six siblings, Randy Conner (Debbie), Belle Pendleton (Ed), Sue Conner, Rodger Boyd (Katie), Ellen Hylton (Charles) and Barbara Stultz; his step-father, John Stultz; his mother-in-law, Fern Soyars; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Harbour (Linda); a sister-in-law, Rhonda Hammond (Jerry); several nieces and nephews; and caregivers, Beth Stowe and Evelyn Madison.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
