Richard Cooper Obituary
Richard was a US Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Matthews and was a member of Moreland Baptist Church. He was on the Hustonville City Council for 13 years. Richard was an avid UK fan. He also loved horse racing and Keeneland.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Candace (Jeremy) McAninch of Moreland; sons, Chris (Jeannie) Cooper of Moreland and Matt (Brooke) Cooper of Somerset; brothers, Joe (Beverly) Cooper of Stanford and Mike (Michelle) Cooper of Stanford; sister, Suzanne Wesley of Liberty; and 7 grandchildren: Morgan Cooper, Mallorie Cooper, Tanner McAninch, Jansen McAninch, Gatlin McAninch, Parker Cooper, and Palmer Cooper.
Visitation is 5:30-8:30 pm Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am Thursday with Bro. Eric Douglas officiating. Burial will be at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors by the US Air Force and the American Legion Post 18. Pallbearers are Tanner McAninch, Jansen McAninch, Gatlin McAninch, Matt Cooper, Jeremy McAninch, and Chris Cooper.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Care Navigators, (In Memory of RIchard Cooper), 1733 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40504.

Worked with Richard for years as I loved his crazy zest for life, he always put a smile on your face. My sincere condolences to ALL family members. He's now living an eternal life which is as good as it gets. RIP Richard.
